ION BEAM MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF LIPS-200 ION THRUSTER AND ITS APPLICATIONS

  • Based on measurement data,an Ion beam mathematical model of the LIPS-200 thruster was formulated and a method to treat with the integral divergence problem in this model was presented.Under this model,ion beam distribution in medial-field and far-field of LIPS-200 thruster were calculated,and some applications,such as beam divergence angle,thrust modification factor,and thruster setting angle for NSSK mission,were discussed respectively.
