EFFECTS ON THE SPACE RADIATION ENVIRONMENT OF CORNER CUBES REFLECTORS WITH METAL COATINGS

  • As the laser cooperative targets,the corner cubes reflectors(CCR) have been got widely researches and applications.However,the investigations of CCR with metal coatings are less mentioned.In this paper,the CCR will be coated with metal films and have an experience with the space radiation environment.Through the laser reflectance test,the influence of CCR optical performance on anti-radiation will be shown.It will be proved very well that the performance of CCR with metal coatings shows stable in space radiation environment after the electrons,protons and vacuum ultraviolet radiations.
