Abstract
Liquid oxygen sloshes when stored in marine tanks.Sloshing destroys the thermodynamic balance in the tank and impacts its maintenance structure,resulting in safety hazards,so the research on preventing liquid sloshing has certain research significance.Considering the effect of mass transfer between gas and liquid phase on phase interface,a three-dimensional numerical model of liquid oxygen sloshing was established to simulate the sloshing of liquid oxygen by using the Euler model in FLUENT software.Then the fluid flow regime changes in the tank were studied.On this basis,the variation characteristics of pressure and sloshing force on tank with time before and after installing the T-shaped baffle were analyzed and compared,in order to explore the sloshing suppression effect and force situation of baffles with different heights.The results show that the sloshing force on the tank can be reduced with baffle,but the baffle itself is also subjected to the different impact load with different heights.Finally,the suggestion of setting up the baffle is put forward.
