Abstract
Vacuum degree has a decisive influence on the performance and service life of cryogenic storage and transportation equipment with high vacuum multila yer insulation material. In order to accurately characterize the vacuum life of the LNG tank container, the outgassing rate of four main components of LNG tank containers (stainless steel, carbon steel, glass fiber reinforced plastics and multilayer insulation material) was measured by static pressure boosting method, and its deflation composition was analyzed. The result shows that the stable value of outgassing rate per unit area of stainless steel (S30408) is about 1.32×10-10Pa·m3/(s·cm2), the stable value of outgassing rate per unit area of carbon steel (Q345R) is about 4.30×10-10Pa·m3/(s·cm2), the stable value of deflation rate per unit area of glass fiber reinforced plastics is about 6.24×10-9Pa·m3/(s·cm2), the stable value of outgassing rate per unit mass of multilayer materials is about 4.79×10-9Pa·m3/(s·g). By analyzing the outgassing components of materials,it is found that most of the outgassing components of tank materials are H2O/OH,and the main outgassing component of glass fiber reinforced plastics is N2/CO、CO2and C.In addition, carbon steel and stainless steel release significantly more H2than glass fiber reinforced plastics and thermal insulation materials.
