  • The role of the pulse tube in PTR system is twosided, namely thethermodynamic and the dynamic.The thermodynamic aspect determines the refrigeration mechanism of the pulse tube, which in turn exerts dynamic influence on PTR system. The method proposed by Dr. de Boer has been used to investigate the displacement of the gas in the pulse tube of a PTR system. The computational result and the discussion on it are presentedhere.
