NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF STIRLING TYPE PULSE TUBE REFRIGERATOR

  • Based on the finite volume method that is the most widely used numerical framework,a physical model and numerical program of a Stirling type pulse tube refrigerator was developed.It is found from numerical results that using this program,the instantaneous gas temperature mass flow rate and pressure were given and the effect of the orifice and double inlet valves on the performance of the Stirling type pulse tube refrigerator were also discussed.Therefore,the program can be used for optimum design of Stirling type pulse tube refrigerator.
